Question: Multiplan runs more slowly on our hardware than on an IBM PC. Our implementation specifies MS-DOS ANSI escape sequences in the Multiplan installation. Does Microsoft have any installation procedures that allow OEMs to provide an executable code to perform certain functions, instead of sending character sequences?
Response: You can use the Multiplan OEM Kit to do a custom installation on your hardware. Installing Multiplan in your machine should improve the performance when using the MS-DOS ANSI escape sequences option.
