                               Macintosh support basic colors, including
black, blue, cyan, green, magenta, red,
yellow, and white. Word for Windows also
supports dark variations of each basic
color. When converting to Word for the
Macintosh, these dark variations all map

Windows, a light, dotted underline will
appear beneath the text to which the
                               format was originally applied. However,
the Underline button on the Word ribbon
does not appear active, and the Underline
field in the Format Character menu appears
blank. This screen display has no adverse
                               affect on printed output.

example) in Word for the Macintosh. Word
