SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario:
- You have Microsoft XPS Document Writer set as the default printer.
- In Windows Explorer, you select multiple Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 presentations or multiple Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 presentations.
- You right-click the selected presentations, and then you click Print.
In this scenario, only the last presentation that is selected is printed as an .xps document. Additionally, this .xps document has the file name that was created for the first document that was printed. The remaining presentations do not have a corresponding .xps document.
For example, if you try to print a.ppt, b.ppt, and c.ppt as .xps documents, the resulting a.xps document will contain the contents of c.ppt. Additionally, only the first .xps document is created. No corresponding .xps documents are created for the remaining presentations.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, select and then print each presentation separately.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
