Microsoft RoundTable does not clear previously-entered digits when you select a telephone number from the speed dial list

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:

  • On a Microsoft RoundTable device, you enter part of a telephone number by using the LCD dial pad.
  • Then, you select a telephone number from the speed dial list.

In this scenario, RoundTable does not clear the digits that you previously entered before it dials the telephone number from the speed dial list.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the hotfix that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 945549. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft RoundTable.
