SUMMARY

A critical update is available to anyone who has already installed Windows Live Toolbar 3.0.

This updates will move all Windows Live Toolbar 3.x users to Windows Live Toolbar version 3.01.0000.0146. The 3.01.0000.0146 version of this software fixes important issues in previous 3.x versions of the software.

  • Addressed the top 10 Watson crashes
  • Resolved Memory Usage issue
  • Memory corruption: WL toolbar crashes IE
  • Toolbar install fails if VbScript runtime is not registered
  • OEM installed toolbars crash on uninstall
  • Some toolbar components are missing digital signatures
  • Assert while closing Internet Explorer

System requirements

  • Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2), or a later version, or Windows Vista

    Note Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista x64 are not supported

  • Minimum 800 megahertz (MHz) processor
  • Windows Internet Explorer 6 with Service Pack 1, or a later version
  • Internet functionality requires dial-up or broadband Internet access

  • Minimum 800 x 600 screen resolution; 1024 x 768 or higher is recommended
