SUMMARY
This article describes the Microsoft Office Input Method Editor (IME) 2007 issue that is fixed in the Input Method Editor (Japanese) 2007 hotfix package that is dated June 17, 2007.

Issue that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- You run IME (Japanese) 2007 on a computer that is also running a data security solution. When you start a 2007 Microsoft Office program, the computer may use 100 percent of CPU resources.
