INTRODUCTION
Windows Vista includes beta versions of the Windows Server 2008 schema extensions. These extensions are in the Adprep tool and in its supporting .ldf files. The Adprep tool and its supporting .ldf files are in the drive
:\bin\Setup\sources\adprep\ folder on the Windows Vista installation discs.
By using these schema extensions, you can test the following Windows Vista features in a nonproduction forest:
- BitLocker Drive Encryption
- Improvements to Group Policy-based configuration for wireless and wired client computers
We recommend that you do not deploy these schema extensions in any production forest of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
