Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) helps make it easier to locate and connect to wireless networks in your home or in a wireless hot spot. In this Expert Zone Community WebCast, Windows MVP Tony Northrup will discuss how to use some of the new features in Windows XP SP2 for Wi-Fi 802.11 home networking. Changes in Windows XP SP2 include Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support to help secure home networks, Wireless Provisioning Services (WPS) for automated configuration at public hot spots, a more informative Wireless Network Connection dialog box, a more informative status display, and other changes. Tony will explain how to use the new Wi-Fi features in Windows XP SP2. Tony will also explain how to help friends and family benefit from the perks of wireless home networking with Windows XP. You could surf the Web from the patio or you could answer e-mail while you wait in an airport. In this Live Meeting presentation, Tony will tell you how to use the online community to help you and to answer your questions about Wi-Fi.
