SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You use Microsoft Outlook to move Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 newsgroup data to a Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) virtual server in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Additionally, the newsgroup data is contained in a personal folder (.pst) file. After you move the newsgroup data, Microsoft Outlook Express users cannot synchronize the newsgroup data from the NNTP virtual server.
Additionally, Outlook Express users may receive an error message that is similar to the following:

RESOLUTION
Service pack information
