Article ID: 871087

Article Last Modified on 2/6/2007

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2005

SYMPTOMS

When you use either the Application Sharing feature or the View Sharing Session feature in Microsoft Office Live Meeting, you may experience the following symptoms:

  • You receive the following error message:

Warning: Stopping. Not enough resources. Quit one or more programs.

  • The sharing session stops responding.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when either of the following conditions is true:

  • You are using Live Meeting version 4, and you have an out-of-date version of the LiveDemo or Sharing plug-in.
  • You have too many applications open, and the computer has insufficient resources.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest versions of the plug-ins for Live Meeting version 4. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

WORKAROUND

If this behavior continues or if you are using Office Live Meeting, close all the applications that you do not need during your presentation.

If this behavior occurs when no applications are running, this problem may be caused by your computer environment. Many behaviors that occur when you run Windows or other programs occur because other processes are loaded when your computer starts. These processes may include conflicting drivers, terminate-and-stay-resident programs (TSRs), or other kinds of settings.
