This article describes how to upload Microsoft PowerPoint slides to Microsoft Office Live Meeting.

When you upload a slide set, Live Meeting converts a PowerPoint PPT file to a PWP file for use in Live Meeting and then uploads the file to your meeting.
To upload slides, you must have organizer or presenter access to a meeting. You can upload slides to a scheduled meeting whenever you want. Use the Upload Slides Web page to upload slides to the meeting. If you do not have the latest Slide Uploader plug-in, the page offers to install the add-in or to upgrade the add-in.
To upload slides if you are an organizer, follow these steps:
- Sign in as an organizer.
- Under Manage, click Meetings.
- Locate the meeting ID that you want to upload slides to, and then click Edit.
- Under Meeting Materials, click Import a Presentation.
- Click the Upload button.
- Locate and then click your slide set, and then click Open.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 for any additional slide sets that you want to upload.
- When you are finished uploading all your slide sets, click Done.
If you have a problem installing or using the Slide Uploader, use the Alternate Uploader Web page on the Presenter Console. The Alternate Uploader Web page works only with a PWP file. If your PowerPoint presentation has not been exported as a PWP file, click the Advanced Slide Set Creation Web link that is available on the Alternate Uploader Web page.
Another page appears that tells you how to install the PlaceWare Add-in for PowerPoint that you can use to export PowerPoint slides to create a PWP file.
To upload slides by using the Alternate Uploader Web page, follow these steps:
- On the Upload Slides Web page, click the Alternate Uploader button. Alternate slide uploading information appears.
- Click the Browse button, and then locate the PWP file, (a presentation converted to the Conference Center's slide set format), that you want to upload.
Note You can only upload PWP files.
- Click the Upload button.
To upload slides if you are a presenter, follow these steps:
- In the Presenter Console, click the File menu, and then click Choose Presentation.
- Click the presentation, and then click the Upload button.
Note The Upload button looks similar to a blue arrow pointing up.
- Locate and then click your slide set.
- Click the Upload button for any additional slide sets that you want to upload.
