SYMPTOMS
After you establish a Routing and Remote Access service connection with your Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer that is running the Line Printer Daemon (LPD) print service, print jobs that are sent from Line Printer Remote (LPR) clients to LPD on your computer do not work. This problem may occur if the computer that is acting as the LPD server is running Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4).
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of a timing issue. When the Windows 2000 client establishes a new connection that uses the Routing and Remote Access service, the spooler service does not correctly handle the new address that is received from the Routing and Remote Access service connection.
