SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service (Store.exe) crashes when the following conditions are true:

  • The Exchange Server 2003 server does not enable IMAP4 users to list public folders.

Note When the Include all public folders when a folder is requested check box on the IMAP4 virtual server is not selected, the Exchange Server 2003 server does not enable IMAP4 users to list public folders other than their own public folders.
