SYMPTOMS
Your Web applications that use the Microsoft Jet database engine may stop responding.
Note Microsoft Access uses the Jet database engine.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because a bug exists in the Jet database engine. This problem occurs only on Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
In Windows Server 2003, COM+ changes how frequently the CoFreeUnusedLibraries function is called. This change causes the Jet drivers to reinitialize frequently. This behavior may cause a deadlock condition.
This problem occurs most frequently when the Web server is under a heavy load.
