APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Windows CE 5.0

SYMPTOMS

When you try to build the Direct3D (D3D) Mobile test component of the Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 Test Kit (CETK) sources, the build will fail because of a missing library.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because originally, not all sources that are provided in the Private tree are meant to be built. Therefore, some files are intentionally excluded. The D3D test components may have to be rebuilt so that modifications can be added to correctly test new chips that support D3D features.
