APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000 Service Pack 1

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000, when you use an application that uses the Session Level Interface (SLI) version of the Logical Unit for Applications (LUA) programming interface, sessions may stop responding in certain situations when they are used with LUA pools.

CAUSE

If an SLI application that has multiple sessions that use LUA pools issues an SLI _CLOSE verb on a session that already has been reset because of an SLI_OPEN verb that is failing, the SLI library incorrectly closes an active session.
