The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS
When you try to install Novell Netware 6 on a Connectix Virtual PC guest operating system that has a FAT16 formatted drive, the installation may not be completed successfully or may stop responding.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because Netware 6 requires 2 gigabytes (GB) free space more than the DOS partition.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, make sure that your computer meets the following minimum system requirements:
- Your active DOS partition has at least 200 megabytes (MB), and and additional 200 MB free space.
- You have 2 GB available disk space outside the DOS partition for the SYS volume.
