SYMPTOMS
When you try to install a Zoom v.92 PCI Voice/Fax Modem, you may receive an error message similar to the following error message:
If you install the Zoom v.92 Voice/Fax modem, and then upgrade to Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, you may not be able to connect to the Internet.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the drivers for the modem are incompatible with Windows XP.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, obtain and install the latest drivers from the modem manufacturer.
