SYMPTOMS
When you open and edit a Web page from a FrontPage Server Extensions enabled Web site, you may be prompted for your credentials to log on to another Web site.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if the page that you are opening has links to a Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) style sheet that is located on another Web site where you do not have Author-level permission. This causes FrontPage to prompt you for your user name and password.
RESOLUTION
