SUMMARY

Microsoft MS-DOS version 5.0a is a "maintenance" update to MS-DOS version 5.0. MS-DOS 5.0a corrects minor problems that exist in MS-DOS 5.0, and synchronizes disk-based MS-DOS with the ROM version of MS-DOS 5.0. MS-DOS 5.0a provides no new features or enhancements beyond those provided in MS-DOS 5.0.

If you are encountering problems with MS-DOS 5.0, contact MS-DOS technical support to see if MS-DOS 5.0a will correct the problems.
