SYMPTOMS
In a high volume message system, the BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet may intermittently fail to validate the preamble or service header of RosettaNet messages. When this problem occurs, you may receive the following error message in the log:
The validation of preamble header failed.
BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet has stopped processing.
Error in validating preamble data against the channel PreambleV2 -2147417848: Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that this article describes. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
