VERITAS Volume Manager Does Not Automatically Connect to Your Local Computer

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the VERITAS Enterprise Administrator to connect to your local computer, you do not automatically connect to your local computer using your Windows logon credentials.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because VERITAS Volume Manager 3.0 is not fully compatible with Windows Server 2003.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact VERITAS Software Corporation for an update to Volume Manager 3.0 that addresses the compatibility issue that is discussed in this article.
