Localization of "True" and "False" in script block causes problems on Brazilian Portuguese version of Windows

Article ID: 811053

Article Last Modified on 2/12/2007

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.0
  • Microsoft Active Server Pages 3.0
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.1
  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional

SYMPTOMS

The script block <%=bTrue%> localizes the values for True and False instead of returning "True" or "False" on Brazilian Portugese versions of Microsoft Windows. Because of this, the script does not function as expected.
