Summary:

If a Microsoft Multiplan worksheet contains cells that are formatted to display in color, these customized formats will be lost and will return to the default color when the file is saved in “Other” format. This is by program design.

More Information:

To display cells in color, do the following:

  1. Choose Format.

  2. From the Format menu, choose Cells.

  3. Select the range of cells that you want to format for color.

  4. In the “format:” field, type in the desired color within square brackets (for example, [green]) and press ENTER.

    The available colors are as follows:

    • Black
    • White
    • Red
    • Green
    • Blue
    • Yellow
    • Magenta
    • Cyan
