SUMMARY

Citizen Technical Support recommends using the Epson FX 850 or the IBM Proprinter III as the emulation mode for the Citizen 200 GX.

Microsoft has not tested this configuration and therefore cannot guarantee proper results.

The following is a list of drivers that can be used with this printer in Works 2.0. Disk location refers to the Works 2.00 program disks. PRD files shipped with Works 2.00 are in a compressed format. Compressed files may not be used with Works 2.00. To decompress the files, run Setup, choose “Modify an existing copy of Works 2.0,” and install the printer described below. After installing the new driver, start Works, open or create a new file, and select Printer Setup (ALT, P, S) to select the new printer driver.

In Works 3.0 these same compressed .PRD files are on the Setup disk and can be installed through the Setup process, or by selecting Printer Setup in Works (ALT, P, S) and choosing Change Printer & Option. You can then choose Install New and Works will prompt you for the Setup disk. You can then select the printer you need.

If Location on disk is listed as a kit, call Microsoft End User Sales and Service at (800) 426-9400 and order the appropriate supplemental printer driver kit.
