SUMMARY
PICK, COHERENT, and THEOS are all multiuser, multitasking operating systems for the IBM PC/XT. (THEOS is the new name for the Oasis operating system.) None of these operating systems can run MS-DOS programs such as Microsoft Works. PICK and THEOS are operating systems used specifically as a basis for multiuser database applications. COHERENT is used most often for program development in C (it is a UNIX clone).
Microsoft has not tested these configurations and therefore cannot guarantee their results.
