SUMMARY

The Word Finder Thesaurus is a desk accessory (DA) that is installed by using the Font/DA Mover, an application that is included on the Apple Macintosh Utilities 1 disk.

To install Word Finder, do the following:

  1. Make a backup copy of the Word Utilities 2 disk.
  2. Using the Font/DA Mover, install the Word Finder DA into the System file on the start-up disk. For information on how to do this, see the “Macintosh Utilities User’s Guide,” pages 43-49.
  3. Copy the Thesaurus file to your System Folder or to the folder that contains Microsoft Word. If the Thesaurus is placed in another folder or renamed, Word Finder will open a window asking for its location.

MORE INFORMATION

For more complete instructions on installing the Word Finder DA, see pages 16-18 of the “Word Finder for the Macintosh” manual.
