Summary:

While editing a text field in Multiplan and using the Edit command, a certain number of characters cannot be inserted. These characters include the exclamation point (!), the semi-colon (;), and the “at” symbol (@). These characters seem to be reserved characters while in Edit mode.

To insert these characters, choose the Alpha command, use the F9 and F10 keys to move the cursor to the place of insertion and type the desired character.
