SUMMARY
To change column links in Microsoft Works, do the following:
From the Edit menu, choose Draw On and select the Text tool.
Click the column to be changed. The column should have a heading similar to the following example:
Col1 Link2
(This means that Column 1 is linked to Column 2.)
Select the link number and type in a new number (for example, to change the link to Column 3, highlight “2” and type “3”).
MORE INFORMATION
To keep data from being truncated in columns that wrap from one to the next, drag the column box until it is large enough to contain all the data, then perform the link change. After the links have been changed, adjust the size of the column, and data will flow into the new linked column.
