Summary:
The MS-DOS Version 3.30 BACKUP.COM command cannot make a backup copy of a disk that has a directory with more than 79 subdirectories in it. If you try to make a backup under this condition, BACKUP.COM exits without performing the backup or displaying an error message.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in MS-DOS version 3.30. This problem does not occur in later versions of MS-DOS.
