Session Summary

During this Support WebCast, you will learn about the various ways that you can deploy Microsoft Office 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) in an enterprise computing environment. You will find out how to use Ohotfix9.exe to chain client-side patch deployment and administrative patching. Because SP3 is a new baseline for Office 2000, you will also hear how this will affect the rollout of Office 2000 in an environment where previous versions of Office 2000 have been deployed. You will learn how to provide additional failover resiliency for client-side patches and how to use some of the new tools that are available on the Microsoft Office Resource Kit site to manage patches in your environment.

This is a Level 300 session that was recorded November 19, 2002 and presented by Eric Ellis. Eric Ellis is a Support Professional in the Enterprise Office Deployment Group here at Product Support Services.
