SYMPTOMS
When you try to install the part of Office 2000 that is located on Disk 2, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
This symptom occurs although Office 2000 Disk 1 installs successfully.
CAUSE
This issue may occur if you use a DVD or CD-RW drive to install Office 2000.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use a CD-ROM drive to install Office 2000.
