SYMPTOMS

If you write a program that uses the MAPI CreateProfile( ) or the ConfigureMsgService( ) method to create and configure profiles in Outlook 2002, your program may quit unexpectedly, or you may receive the following error message:

MAPI_E_INVALID_PARAMETER (0x80070057)

RESOLUTION

This problem is corrected in Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3.
