SYMPTOMS
When you try to view your Inbox by using Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA), you may be prompted to provide your logon credentials several times before the Inbox appears.
CAUSE
This issue can occur when OWA is installed on your computer that also has the following products installed:
- Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) 2000
- Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server
- Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue:
- Start the ISA Management Console.
- Expand Servers and Arrays.
- Right-click your ISA Server-based computer, and then click Properties.
- Click the Incoming Web Requests tab.
- Specify the external IP address of the server for listeners individually if they are not already configured that way.For additional information about how to do so, click the article number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

- Click to clear the Ask unauthenticated users for identification check box.
