Session Summary



In this session, we will discuss common problems that may occur when you use the Calendar features in Microsoft Outlook. Areas of discussion will include the effect of handheld devices, delegates, and offline folders (OST).

This is a Level 300 session that was recorded November 12, 2001 and presented by Mark Liumand Chris Burnham.

Presenter: Mark Lium: Mark Lium has been with Microsoft for four years, and has been supporting messaging technologies for more than three years. During the development of Outlook 2002, Mark provided support to the product's Beta Testers and developed training and documentation for Product Support Professionals. Mark currently works for Product Support Services (PSS), providing Enterprise Messaging Support and tracking trends in Outlook 2002 support issues. He generates and delivers training to Microsoft Support Professionals to help them support Outlook.

Author: Chris Burnham: Chris Burnham joined Microsoft as an Exchange Client Support Professional in June 2000. Prior to joining Microsoft, Chris served as an Outlook MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in the Microsoft public newsgroups, and co-authored the book, Professional Outlook 2000 Programming for Wrox Press. Since joining Microsoft, he has spent a great deal of time researching Outlook calendaring and handheld device support. Currently, Chris is a Technical Lead for Exchange Client in the Enterprise Messaging Support division of Product Support Services.
