Session Summary
In this session, we will discuss methods to implement perimeter networks (also known as DMZs, demilitarized zones, and screened subnets) by using Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000. We will also talk about common design and configuration misconceptions, best practices, and then provide configuration examples.
This is a Level 300 session that was recorded November 8, 2001 and presented by Steve Gombotz. Steve Gombotz joined Microsoft as a Support Professional in July 2000. He has been supporting ISA Server 2000 since its release in February 2001, and has developed content and training about the product. Steve currently works for Product Support Services (PSS), where he supports ISA Server 2000. He also develops and delivers ISA Server 2000 training to Microsoft Support Professionals.
