Session Summary



This WebCast provides an overview of Internet connectivity support in Microsoft Windows XP, along with information about how to troubleshoot an Internet connection. This discussion includes the use of Modem Diagnostics, Network Diagnostics, IPConfig, Ping, and other troubleshooting tools to test the connection, as well as some general guidance about sharing an Internet connection with other computers on a home or small office network.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded December 14, 2001 and presented by Jeff Nemecek. Jeff joined Microsoft in 1997 and has supported all of the consumer operating systems from Windows 95 to Windows XP, as well as Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000, focusing mainly on network technologies. He has most recently been involved in developing and delivering training for the release of Windows XP, and acting as a technical contributor to the Windows XP Professional Resource Kit.
