SYMPTOMS

When you are using the RealNetworks RealPlayer or RealJukebox program, you may receive the following error message:

RealPlayer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Or, you may receive this error message:

RealJukebox has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If the error message is still displayed and you want to see the data that the error report contains, click the click here link at the bottom of the message box. You then see error signature information that may be similar to the following:

CAUSE

This issue may occur if RealPlayer or RealJukebox is installed on your computer. There is a known compatibility issue between these programs and the Microsoft software that is listed at the beginning of this article.
