FIX: "Not Enough Memory" Error Message When You Retrieve a NULL Date Value by Using OLE DB Provider for DB2

SYMPTOMS

When you use the OLE DB provider for DB2, if you use a stored procedure to retrieve a date value that is populated with a null value, you may receive the following error message:

"Not enough memory to complete this operation"

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Host Integration Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

The English version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, see the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in Host Integration Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
