SYMPTOMS
After you click Clear History on the General tab of Internet Options, Web pages that you visited today may not be removed from your history.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if another process has the history locked when you click Clear History.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem:
- Quit all running programs.
- In Control Panel, double-click Internet Options.
- On the General tab, click Clear History.
- Click Yes, and then click OK.
- Restart Internet Explorer.
- If the problem persists, restart your computer in Safe mode, and then repeat steps 1 through 5.
