SYMPTOMS
Outlook 2002 stops responding (hangs) if you try to use the Italian proofing tools. This problem occurs when there is a word followed by a space, then a dot (period), and then another word (for example, "hello .there").
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
