SYMPTOMS

While you are playing the game Return to Castle Wolfenstein by Activision, your computer may become unstable, or you may receive an error message that is similar to:

Crash caused in wolfmp.exe!! Return to Castle Wolfenstein has encountered a problem and must be shut down. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If the error message is still displayed and if you want to see the data that the error report contains, click the click here link at the bottom of the message box. You then see error signature information that may be similar to:

CAUSE

Return to Castle Wolfenstein versions that are earlier than version 1.31 are known to cause issues with Windows XP.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download the latest patch from Activision.
