Windows Movie Maker Hangs When You Are Using a WildTangent Web Driver That Is Earlier Than 2.2.0.100

SYMPTOMS

When you publish a movie in Windows Movie Maker, the progress bar may not finish, and Windows Movie Maker may stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you have a deadlock in the WildTangent Web driver build 2.1.1.045.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, update the Web driver to build 2.2.0.100 or later. To determine the build number of the Web driver, use the WildTangent tool in Control Panel.

When you publish a movie in Windows Movie Maker by using the Save Movie or Send command, you receive a Creating Movie dialog box, and a "Please wait while your movie is created" message.
