SYMPTOMS
When you copy a folder from a your mailbox to a public folder tree on an Microsoft Exchange 5.5 service pack 4 server in Outlook 2002, the permissions that are present on the public folder do not propagate to the copied folder.
Permissions do propagate when you use Microsoft Outlook 2000, Microsoft Outlook 98, and Microsoft Outlook 97.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
