SYMPTOMS
Outlook 2002 may not support the Level1Add registry key, which was supported in Microsoft Outlook 2000. In Outlook 2000, you can add and remove attachments from "Level1 Attachments" by using the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Security
Key: Level1Add
RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Office XP Service Pack 1.

To enable the Level1Add options, you have to edit the registry.

To enable the Level1Add options, follow these steps:
- Add the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security
- Add the following String value: Level1Add.
- After you add the Level1Add registry key, you can add extensions of files to the Level1 list. Separate each entry with a semicolon.
You can also enable the Level1Add options by using system policies under the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security
