SYMPTOMS

When you send your print job that contains one or more TrueType font characters to your non-PostScript printer, the TrueType characters may be garbled.

NOTE: As of March 2002, this symptom has only been reported to occur with a double-byte character set (DBCS) TrueType font.

CAUSE

An internal font glyph to Device Independent Bitmap (DIB) rendering subroutine may lose track of the left edge of the character during foreground color bit-block operations.
