SYMPTOMS

When you clcik the Synchronize Values button on the Web Server tab, some IIS Logging Extended Properties are changed (enabled). Specifically, the following IIS Logging Extended Properties are enabled even if they have been previously disabled: Date, Time, Client IP, User Name, Server IP address, Server Port, Method, URI Stem, URI Query, Protocol Status, Bytes Sent, Bytes Received, User Agent, Cookie, Referrer.

As per the online documentation, located at Commerce Server 2000 --> Administering Commerce Server --> Running the Data Warehouse --> Configuring Web Log Files for Import, the IIS Logging Extended Properties that are enabled are needed so that the log files can be imported into and used by the data warehouse. Some of these IIS Logging Extended Properties are actually REQUIRED to be enabled.

The remaining IIS Logging Extended Properties, other than the forementioned, will stay unchanged.
