Open the Browscap.ini File in Notepad
- On the server, click Start, point to Programs, Accessories, and then click Notepad.
- In Notepad, click Open on the File menu.
- Open the Browscap.ini file that is located in the %systemroot%\WINNT\System32\Inetsrv folder.

Copy and Paste Text Into the Browscap.ini File
- Copy the text from the preceding "Text to Add to the Browscap.ini File" section of this article. To do so, select the text, and then press CTRL+C.
- In Microsoft Notepad, paste the text that you just copied immediately after the "Internet Explorer 5" section, approximately at the middle of the Browscap.ini file.
- On the File menu, click Save, and then click Exit on the File menu.
