SYMPTOMS
In a Commerce Server 2000 Data Warehouse structure, the URI shared dimension contains data entries that reference the Basket Events and Order Events cubes. However, these cubes do not use the URI shared dimension. As a result, unnecessary size is added to the dimension.
RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Commerce Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in Commerce Server 2000 Service Pack 1.

Commerce Server 2000 Service Pack 1 changes the way that the data is populated within the dimension so that it does not add data to the dimension that references the Basket Events and Order Events cubes.
