SYMPTOMS
When you select a table cell in a nested table, Microsoft Word 2000 may quit unexpectedly, or you may receive one of the following error messages, depending on your operating system.
Microsoft Windows 2000:

Microsoft Windows 95 and 98:
When you click Details, you receive the following message:
Note The actual memory address may vary.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if all the following conditions are true:
- The document contains a nested table that expands to multiple pages.
- Words in the nested table contain a hyperlink.
- You are using print layout view or Web layout view.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
This problem was first corrected in the Word 2000 Update: April 25, 2002. This problem is fixed in Microsoft Word 2002.
